For those unfamilar with the Real Living name, in 2009, GMAC Real Estate was Re-Branded 'Real Living'. The move was set in motion when Brookfield Residential Property Services (Brookfield RPS), a division of Brookfield Asset Management (Brookfield), acquired GMAC Real Estate. Brookfield
RPS acquired Real Living Network Services, a subsidiary of Real Living Inc., and as a result rebranded GMAC Real Estate as Real Living.
